Jenny Accepted at Emory

Our own Jennifer Okáľová has officially been accepted into the Molecular & Systems Pharmacology Graduate Program at the Emory University School of Medicine, where she will begin pursuing a PhD in fall 2021.

“I am most looking forward to immersing myself into a research topic I am passionate about,” Jenny said.

Jennifer is graduating this semester from UGA with her bachelor’s degree and has been working with the Grimsey Lab as an undergraduate researcher since Fall 2018.

“The Grimsey Lab cemented a love for research in me,” she added. “The science is riveting, the lab environment is collaborative, and Dr. Grimsey is a phenomenal mentor.”
